The Solarax Vision & Roadmap

Our mission is to eliminate the boilerplate of game development and allow creators to build at the speed of thought. While Solarax is already a powerful AI Technical Designer for Unreal Engine 5, we are just getting started.

Here is a look at where we are heading next:

⚙️ Continuous Engine & Logic Evolution

Constant & Recurrent Improvements

AI models and game engines evolve rapidly. Solarax will continuously update its backend routing, prompt engineering, and RAG indexing so the system always benefits from the most advanced reasoning capabilities available.

These improvements will ship as silent backend upgrades with no user configuration required.

Deeper Blueprint & Material Support

Solarax will expand deterministic generation to support increasingly complex visual scripting systems including:

  • advanced blueprint graphs
  • material graphs
  • animation blueprints
  • Niagara VFX systems

The goal is to allow Solarax to reason across entire visual logic networks instead of isolated node clusters.

Enhanced Spatial Awareness

The Solarax Vision Agent will gain deeper understanding of 3D scene topology. Future versions will support:

  • complex level design manipulation
  • environment gray-boxing from prompts
  • multi-object spatial reasoning

This will allow developers to shape scenes using natural language.

🌐 Cross-Engine Expansion

Solarax for Unity

Solarax will expand its architecture to support the Unity ecosystem. Planned capabilities include:

  • contextual C# script generation
  • scene manipulation inside Unity Editor
  • RAG awareness of Unity projects
  • multi-agent architecture for gameplay systems

Exploring Emerging Engines

Solarax will also investigate native integrations for rapidly growing engines such as Godot and other open-source ecosystems.

The long-term goal is to make Solarax available wherever developers choose to build games.

🧠 Advanced AI Workflows

Automated QA & Playtesting

Solarax will evolve beyond code generation into automated gameplay validation. Future systems may allow Solarax to:

  • simulate gameplay logic
  • detect infinite loops
  • identify performance bottlenecks
  • locate edge cases in gameplay systems

This would allow developers to validate mechanics before even pressing Play.

Whole-Project Context

Solarax's Knowledge Graph will expand to reason across the entire project simultaneously. This will enable:

  • large-scale codebase refactoring
  • multi-file architecture design
  • gameplay framework generation

The AI will be able to reason across complete systems instead of isolated files.

🤝 Studio & Team Collaboration

🏢

Shared Studio Memory

Enterprise teams will be able to create secure shared context pools. Solarax will adapt to a studio's:

  • coding standards
  • naming conventions
  • proprietary frameworks
  • internal architecture patterns

Operate as a true AI technical designer embedded in the studio workflow.
